In the mid-1990s, Arto was one of the six forefathers – instrumental in design and creation of the regional Thiers knife. In 2008 the company’s reigns were passed to Cyril Gavinet. Shortly thereafter, the workshop was moved approximately one mile northeast from Thiers to more modern quarters in Monnerie-le-Montel.
